Mandi is originally from the West Midlands but trained as a professional actress at Redroofs theatre school and then later as a choreographer at the renowned London dance school LABAN.

Mandi is originally from the West Midlands but trained as a professional actress at Redroofs theatre school and then later as a choreographer at the renowned London dance school LABAN.After studying full time for four years she launched a very successful career and has worked for the past twenty-five years as a freelance choreographer, dance teacher, director, arts lecturer, adjudicator, and performance/project co-ordinator.
She has had the honour of working with many established and high profile arts organisations including: The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Carlton Junior Television Workshop, The Birmingham National Dance Agency, MAC, The Custard Factory Media Arts Centre, and Eurodance Agency(London).
Her own choreography both dance and theatre has been seen at many of the countries leading theatres and entertainment venues including: The National Theatre(London), The Everyman Theatre(Cheltenham), The Theatre Royal(Drury Lane), The Old Rep Theatre(Birmingham), The Birmingham Hippodrome, The Crescent, The Birmingham Rep Theatre, The London Paladium, The Royal Albert Hall, The Grand Theatre(Wolverhampton), Granada TV Studio’s, The Chateau Impney Hotel and the Barbican Centre(London).
In 1995 she was invited by The Unusual Services production team to choreograph and present work at The VE Day Celebrations in Hyde Park, which was dedicated to commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the end of the second world war and seen as a ceremony of peace and reconciliation.
She has an all round interest in performing arts and has trained student actors, singers and dancers at performing arts colleges including: The Birmingham Theatre School, The Conservatoire for Music, The Method Studio(London), and the highly acclaimed Italia Conti Associate School in London. She then went on to become course director at MADD (midlands academy of dance and drama) where she continued to inspire young performers of the future.
